Painy Days and Mondays

It's incredibly warm and muggy in here today, that Florida effect of living in a valley in the rain.  Which does no good for arthritic things and tests my coping skills.

So I'll post the news highlights and reserve the rest for when I'm not so bitchy.

And I thought Time's cover was a new low:

Magazine subscriptions are down and now the once proud are lowering themselves to the levels of the other rags. Covers are everything. I will bet you their sales went up this week.

Sorry you're having an achy painy day. Weather can do a number can't it? We wait and wait for the warm weather and then the humidity and wind and pollen and heat remind us of why we are better off freezing.
Still....I love the summer.
Those poor folks in Mexico...is there no end to the misery and horror?

Wait, so rain makes it hurt and heat does too? Well, that stinks. (Wondered why I'd hurt since yesterday... ) It's so lovely out, though!

Sorry for the aches and pains.

Interesting news stories. I feel bad for Obama. With all the heat he's been taking over this, it's amazing that some people on the right still claim he only said it for "political reasons."

I hope that humidity level gets back to normal. Here in New York, we will be having rain up until Thursday.
I hope that your hurting goes away. There is nothing like sunshine for bones, but until the muggyness goes away, treat yourself to something nice to divert yourself. May be a mix of fresh fruits and nuts ( if you are not allergic to any).
Sun cannot hide from us forever.

Humidity yanks me around too. I hope it is easing off for you.
The Gay President cover is v.v. tacky. Is there anything in the Constitution which says that you couldn't have a gay President? And yes, I know, it just isn't going to happen.
