Snow? Oh Come On!

I leave the window cracked open in the bathroom and when I was in there earlier, I smelled snow. Ya know that smell? A bit of freezer, a slight whiff of ozone, a little sting to the nose. I thought, "Oh, I'm hallootinootin. Can't be."

So I go look at the weather widget on iBrattleboro
http://www.ibrattleboro.com/weather/index.php

Yes. Snow. On and off, tonight through Thursday. No wonder the hip's been a gorilla. Here we go, winter in April. Very freakin lovely.

It has been a crazy. We had spring in winter, and now winter in spring. No snow here, but howling winds.

Yeah, Lawless, nothing lasts forever. I wonder if this is what the new seasons will be like. The next years will tell. It's been changing for a few years anyway. I think 2000 was the last of the old norms that were.

Good grief. Maybe you got some of that white stuff that became a blizzard here last week as the traffic ground to halt.
And to think, the day before the blizzard, the temperatures were up in the seventies F.
The weather's gone crazy. Take care of your hip and stay warm. Are you impressed? Gone past four in the morning in lil' ol England and you get a comment from me. Yes, shy and humble me! :)

Arleen- It really has been. If it's only one storm I won't kvetch. If we have six weeks of snowdays I'll be pissed. I can't imagine going to a concert in this sorta pain. And Greg's only 11 days away. Really, I'll go, I'll be in hella pain but I'll go (or maybe I'm just Gaia-wise prepaying so it gets beautiful for that weekend). I'm a real bitch when I'm in pain, or totally silent. I don't want to be like that, then. I don't want to act that way when I'm in big pain anymore anyway. So that's gotta start somewhere. I find pressure helpful. If there's anything in the world more stressful to me than meeting Greg Lake I can't think of it right now because I'm in Pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The weather better get its shit together. I'm not having it. :)

Gary you dear man, still up at this hour?! The weather really has gone crazy. This may change a lot of things if we've shifted to entirely different seasonal shifts than we've known.Food prices will skyrocket for a couple of years and I'll end up being glad I had a bit of padding to make it through the first years! Thank you for knowing about the value of warmth. Since burning off part of me I'm much colder. I may have to wear leggings to Greg's concert and that's not right. As I said, I'm not having it. :D

There has been a little snow about 60 miles from us today and a nip in the air. Bright blue skies though.

EC- we had a little rain. Just wet enough to really bother ya, and to keep the fire restrictions low. Why do I like the Spring again?
